What We Do
Axsera’s capabilities in fixed point to point wireless network engineering include site engineering and link design, path simulations and availability calculations, site selection, as well as antenna and tower selection. We apply the same expertise to point to multipoint microwave networks. Axsera also coordinates frequency licensing applications in Canada (ISED) and the USA (FCC).
Point to Point Microwave Networks
Our experience ranges from narrow-band UHF point to point links for 2-way radio backhaul and SCADA applications, to multi-gigabit microwave backhaul links for cellular base stations and high-definition operational video surveillance applications. We have the experience and know-how to select the right microwave technology, and to specify the right tower, transmission line, antennas, and power system for each project.
Point to Multipoint Microwave Networks
Point to multipoint microwave technology offers unrivalled cost-effectiveness and adaptability when operators need to link several scattered locations to the core network. We have industry-leading expertise in planning and deploying complex, mission-critical point to multipoint microwave networks for industrial applications, and managing issues of frequency coordination, external interference and self-interference, and the use of repeater sites to extend network coverage.
